Singer Kelly Khumalo has been implicated as the person who ordered the killing of the her then-boyfriend and father of her child Senzo Meyiwa, by accused 1 and 2, Muzi Sibiya and Bongani Ntanzi, in the Senzo Meyiwa murder trial.
This is according to Brigadier Bongani Gininda, the main investigator in the murder case of Meyiwa. Gininda stated that the cell phone connections between Khumalo and two other accused, Mthobisi Mncube and Fisokuhle Ntuli, implicated her in the murder of Meyiwa
“These linkages connect her to accused three and five. It was further discovered that through cellphone analysis her cellphone memory album has the same photo of a see-through bag containing cash notes and in the exact position or location or spot of that of accused number three. There is no reasonable explanation as to why Kelly Khumalo would be in contact telephonically with a hitman or killers of her boyfriend and share the same picture of a bag all of money,”
“As early as 2013 she wanted to get rid of the deceased as she put it. It is apparently clear that she hated him and she wanted to get rid of him. She further states that she regrets not successfully getting rid of him before, he said.
